Here are a few straps that are working well on my Morays. I have a lot of straps, so I tested a few out, and these I particularly like.

1. this was the original black 24/22 strap that came with a Marina Militare. I added the blasted buckle from the rubber strap and this makes a very comfortable solution. You can find these straps for as low as $10 from some people online.

2. this one is a bit more expensive and comes from Heroic18. It is the natural tan with unfinished edges. It is darker than when it arrived due to the break in. the buckle is not heroic18 and I purchased separately.

I am thinking of putting this tan Heroic strap above on the stealth watch...

3. This is a custom made velcro strap that I had made for the upcoming GMT Worldiver, but since I don't have the Worldiver yet, I figured I would try it on the Moray. It fits great, but the strap was made for 22mm lugs not 24mm so there is a small gap, but the watch sits firm and doesn't slide. I will probably put the watch back on the leather or steel and save this velcro for the PVD Worldiver.

It's not your fault.  The Moray really is awesome, and the fact that is seems to look awesome on any strap, well...that's just awesomer.subtlelaugh.gif

But seriously, I really like topics like this.  The Moray's classic design really begs for Strap Idiot Savants to go nuts.  Makes me think I need more Morays so I can use more straps! toon1.gif

Other different strap/Moray options: As you'll see, the Seafoam looks totally different on a cream strap, much more "1950s Italian Riviera" than on, say, its (great) black rubber

I posted this in another thread, sorry if I double-post, but you may have missed it - and I don't know about you, but I never seem to get tired of these Moray pics :)

The strap is 24/22, custom made, and I held it by standard spring bars held basically only by the strap : The strap holes are tight, so they squeeze the spring bars and prevent them from falling through the lug holes. Not the best or safest solution by a long shot, but I am at the moment only desk diving, so "when the risk is ridiculous, the reward is ridiculous" :D

… and, yes, that's the same dial in all pix! This gives only a faint idead of how versatile the dial is, depending on the interplay of light/texture/color

PS: STeve's Stealth/Saddle Brown combo looks great!
