as posted by Steve on the very 1st page of this thread:
actually this strap is about the same size as the leather straps shipped with the Moray and is good for 6 - 7.5in wrist which is about average wrist size.
We are considering making one for larger wrists but it is a huge investment, so we need to be selling a lot of Megalodons in the future to make that strap an option.

Thanks for the pics, Steve. It is really nice getting to come along for the ride of the whole process of getting Meg 3 up and running. I really feel a part of, and it adds to the meaning and personal value of the watch. Thanks.

Steve,

While that logic may sound good it does not make sense. Biggest Shark ever! Big watches attracts big guys who don't want wimpy little 40-42mm watches on our 8" wrists. The rubber strap that ships with on my inexpensive "little" 42mm Seiko divers is long enough to comfortably fit my 8" wrist.

I have every strap that shipped with the worldiver and only the metal mesh is a good fit. Even the Zulu is undersized for me. I love the mesh and my worldiver looks good on a 12" Orange ZULU from Greg Stevens. This new rubber strap looks good but is completely useless to us big guys!

My PVD and yellow dial will look great with rubber strap.bravo.gif

Steve, any thoughts of having the "B" logo, like the one on the Benarus bracelet on stamped on each side of the rubber strap?

A Panerai is a large watch and has a rubber strap that is similar in size to ours. The one thing we did not want is for the average customer to have a bunch of extra rubber hanging off the side of the watch, the way a Seiko or Isofrane does. Our strap is branded with BENARUS engraved on the inside. These straps are complete and the specs can not be changed at this point.
