Stop it Steve. I have an orange Moray, just got the Raven Vintage and waiting for the Olivier Bronze. Have decided not to buy any watches in the near future and then you pop up with this snake.

Scary thing about wearing the Sea Snake, for almost a full day...and night :)...
I could imagine having this as the only watch I would wear...it's THAT comfortable, the bracelet is as comfortable...or more...than any Rolex.
The dial is nicely readable...and beautifully designed, of course (as always...Steve excels in this department).
I grew up with all my most beloved figures...including my mother...wearing period Submariners...some from WWII...others boughtt at different periods, for diving... I bought my first Sub, some where on the shore of Scotland, when I was 18. I say all this, because I have never been drawn to orange minute hands...for that reason...they look 'out of place' to me... HOWEVER...the shade of orange that Steve used, combined with the boldness of the hour hand, made this the first watch I have ever bought, with an "orange" minute hand.

...Steve was right, as well...that the bezel mechanism is the smoothest of any watch I have ever owned...

I look forward to wearing this watch for years, and buying other variations (dial color, Ti, chrono?).

Man, I thought they might be a few months in the offing. I thought the original renderings were proof of concept before final approval and production. I was shocked to open the Benarus website and find them available already. Very nice.

Unfortunately a minor motorcycle accident has me sidelined from work for a couple months taking any watch out of my budget for a little while. I have decided to just torture myself with reports of all the great limited editions I will miss out on, and dream of being back in the watch hunt again.

Another stunner Steve.

I must admit to being becoming a total fan boy of Benarus with one beautifully 'clean' designed dive watch after another. I just need more money!

And Benarus comes out with another winner!!! That's becoming the companies' logo I thinksubtlelaugh.gif

All of their watches appear well built and keepers, I wish Benarus good luck on this new endeavor that from the looks of it will sold out pretty soon!!ThumbsUp02.gif
