 Then I would strongly recommend this Accutron VX-200 Chronograph with Valjoux 7750 movement.

 Maybe a Chase Durer UDT 1000 might be worth looking at, this is a very tough watch non reflective case (PVD) 300m screwdown crown and pushers, lume is good but not nuclear.

 

It is quartz but as a beater BRING IT ON it will not let you down.
