Here is the second MM mod I did, I bought a titanium case and the other parts and movement came from a donor. I split the sandwich dial to paint the bottom white and the top "US NAVY Intermediate Blue". I thought the blue and titanium finish would work well together. Hands are painted white. I shipped it off to "Jeff the watch Dude" for some finishing touches... gasket fitting and stem cutting and size adjustment.

Chinese 6497. they are good movements, accurate and durable. I haven't had any issues with them.

These panny homages are a blast, if you can use your cell phone you can build one of these, the great thing about the sandwich dial is you can even be a lume pro cuz you don't have to stay between the lines when you lume the back plate!

I like what you are doing with these, Steve. And there seems to be a unifying them running behind the watches as they seem almost a set and compliment each other very well.thumbsup.gif
