While Rolex is building up it's production's capacity and efficiency to levels never achieved in the watch industry's history, the prices are rising and everybody clap hands for the robots... The same people are also clapping for the small manufactures who still work on a "traditional" way to ensure a better control over production and quality. Telling us that heritage is important for the soul of the product. I guess we can't get it all. But usually with automatization and high efficiency production, the product gets more affordable. It's a strange world... But the reading is interesting! http://www.fhs.ch/en/news/news.php?id=1031
