Hucky you did right by your pet. I would have reacted the same way and even more so had one of my children been endangered. I am firmly convinced the pissed off woman from your story was not controlling her animal and probably wasn't even aware of its actions until it attacked your dog. I could be wrong but I am guessing she was clueless until you took care of business. Hucky, you're taking things in at twice the speed of the "average" Joe. Your highly attuned to your surroundings and all that goes on around you. Realize pal, a lot of  people don't think at all beyond their noses and this is a weakness in that not only do they have lack a communal consciousness but they may also be thought of as dumb-asses, shit for brains and the occasional jag-off who is aware but doesn't care; the douche-bag.

If the park official saw the whole thing you have no need to worry. Go back and have fun with the puppy and don't be paranoid they've pegged you and your dog as rabble-rousers. You did the right thing and then some. An ass like myself would have not apologized and let the woman know she and her freakin' dog were far out of line.

You're a good shit Hucky!!Thumbsup3.gif
