 As a beginner, I don't have any real idea which brands or movements are the good ones, other than the extremely expensive ones which are out of my price range.

I've been searching for a watch to replace my aging Citizen EcoDrive.  I'm looking for an automatic watch, similar to the Omega Seamaster, at a price point around $500. I want a watch that will go with anything, sporty or dressy, and has a nice size and weight. I love the Omega Seamaster (James Bond's watch) but I don't have that kind of money to spend.

I am willing to buy either new or used.
