 The Reef Ranger seems nice, but I have a special place for many Japanese watches (Seiko/Citizen/Casio).

If you want another suggestion, take a look at a Seiko SBDC001 (black dial)/ SBDC003 (blue dial) or for a little 'pop' the SBDC005 (orange dial).  Personally, I don't like the 'cyclops' on the Reef Ranger, but every taste is a little different.  A hacking/handwinding movement made in-house by Seiko, which runs within +/- 5seconds per day (based on a poll of current owners) is pretty awesome :D.
