Thanks murph and chick - before going ballistic with more straps, I wanted some feedback like this to give me direction. In the meantime, I bought a Bob Vertigo buffalo which I THOUGHT would be a softie , but as it turns out, it is not. Other Bob straps might be worth a look, but not this one - for me.

murph - your strap sounds like a good one. Bund style and vintage leather is a terrific combo.

chick - thanks for the pic! I have heard of Micah straps before - but where does one get them from?
