Here is a question: Is it wrong to covet a Cartier Pasha? When do you cross the line from a guy who is into watches --which I think we'd all agree is a great type of guy to be-- and become just a guy who likes to wear jewlery? Yesterday, I passed a Cartier store on the street and saw this watch, the Pasha... not the exact model in the photo below, but close enough, and I can't get it out of my head. This is bad on two levels: 1- way too expensive. For me, this would be grounds for divorce if purchased, so that's bad. and 2- while the watch definately does something for me aesthetically, I'm wondering if it isn't almost too pretty of a watch, to where it begins to feel like just wearing a bracelet which isn't something I would normally do. And then I got to questioning my whole watch obsession. Do I really just like jewlery? If watches were in necklace form, would I wear one? I don't think so. But why?
