Just something to think about. I don't know if there is that much difference between the 1st and 2nd generation. Of course it is faster... So they say. But how often will you be able to take advantage of the 3g is the question. And it has gps. I don't know if you need that. The phone is also cheaper. Except they are raising the rates to use it. So, you might want to do the math. The 2nd gen starts at 199 but the rate increase will cost you 240 more dollars over the next 2 years and that is without messaging added in. I've been on the fence myself. But, I am very very satisfied with my blackberry. The only downfall is the mobile web. Blackberry messenger can't be beat. I am on the old tmobile plan. So it only cost me $20 bucks a mo. They have since increased it. If/when I have to upgrade and they want to charge me more for the plan I'll probably switch.
