if I knew what ISA quartz was used in the J-SAR it would shed a better light for me as far as how the mod is done....if all it takes is a simple swap of movements and a change of the hour/minute hand I can do it.....from the looks the J-SAR second hand can be usedhand6.gif I don't own a J-SAR so I can't determine what the size of the movement is inside and if the retaining ring and dial feet will match up ...what has thrown me is the qoute of $150. including the eta 2824-2 as I have not seen any movements selling for less than $145.:?
I got an email back from Jack and he said that it would be $150 + S/H for the transplant of the 2824-2 movement including the movement.
