I have a few Eco Drives and a solar Casio and like any watch that doesn't need a battery change.  My Zippo chronograph battery just died and it is a @$% to get that caseback off.  I have heard that early Kinetics had capacitor troubles that have been solved now.

One of these days...

I would go for it!

Cheers,

BTW, what is the extra crown at 2 o'clock for?

It tells you how much charge your battery has.....I think my new model can be charged up to 6 months of capacity.....My old one's...16 yrs old....only go to 72 hrs.... when the pusher is depressed and the second hand goes say to the 6 on my old Seiko that indicates 72 hrs of charge.....starting from the 12 of course....
