 Nice grabs!  A year went by between the time I decided to get one and the time I could find a new '04 re-make at a reasonable price (from theBay).  Mine came with a beautiful navy-blue, croc-embossed, calf-leather strap with blue stitch.

Re: date setting, I only have to go back and forth between 11:00 PM and just past midnight for the date wheel to click forward.

YMMV, I suppose.
