the A2 suffix is generally used when a module is added to a base movement for more functions/complications....ie: chrono,moonpahse etc....the eta 2892-A2 is a prime example of a movement where a module is piggybacked to add a chrono function as used on the Omega Dynamic....DuBois Dpraz uses a 2824-A2 for the DD2040 chrono movement:)

...all I can think why some companies are stating eta 2824-A2 is that due to the lack of eta's some of these moduled eta A2's are being bought and modded back to "base eta 2824's" and the A2 is staying with the movement caliber....I have an e-mail into a friend at eta to get the lowdownhand6.gif
