I have several watches with Ronda movements and I like them and have never experienced the problems that you are talking about. I will admit that mine are from better manufacturers like Gevril and Xemex but, in my experience they are accurate and dependable. It sounds like you have either a defective one or a cheap watch with a good movement that was badly put together. If you are unhappy and can return it, I would. Clyde
