Mathey-Tissot is in no relation to Charles-Felicien Tissot,which merged with Omega in the 1930's. However,it was Charles-Emile Tissot, the son of Charles-Felicien Tissot,who was responsible for building the factory in LeLocle,Switzerland in 1853. Therefore, Tissot-Omega are highly prized collector items.

Mathey -Tissot was founded in 1886 and their current
line is in building customized watches.
