So, I'm sitting on the couch surfing while She Who Cooks is beside me watching the Cubs game on TV. I go out to WatchBuys.com to check out the Sinn U1, one of my all-time grails. I note the fact no miracles have taken place, the watch is still pricey, and for me, $1,660 is a chunk of change. However, I rationalize, come September 1, a "significant" price increase is expected. So I strategize. I point out to the lady at my side that in some sense, $1,660 is a bargain. This is an investment I say. Just look at this awesome watch. She replys, "Yahoo, the Cubs just hit a two run home." I feel ignored. So, I did what any immature, selfish 63 year old child would do...I went over to the MKII site and put a deposit down on the LRRP. Just goes to show you, there's more than one bargain to be had. Here's a pic from the MKII site: ![]() Last edited on Sun Aug 24th, 2008 03:15 pm by Willieboy |
