 Eddy.......I'm very familiar with your son in laws site. Unfortunately i'm much too familiar with many flyfishing sites and also picked up a bad case of bamboo rod fever some years back........ its for that reason that i can't spend more on a watch!:)

hope I'm not stepping over the line here but could i follow up and ask if anyone has a tissot online dealer they could recommend  or if you prefer send to my e mail

noticed no one commented on the O&W watch........is that because its a bit more obscure or is the tissot perhaps a  better value?

thanks boys........anyone insane enough to be interested in bamboo fly rods I can point you in the right direction. In trying to learn about Quartz vs. automatic I was struck by the similarity of arguments coming up to when we hash over bamboo vs graphite fly rods.
