Most dont know, but I had an issue with my Citizen Autozilla, which in my opinion, did not keep a charge when fully wound. I purchased the watch used, but it still had time left on the 5 year warranty. They told me to send it and they would be able to go by the serial # on the back to determine if it still was under warranty. I had no receipts or proof of purchase.
The long and short....complete movement replacement

Looking forward to having this bad/boy on the wrist again next week.
