I think Ken really nailed how I'm feeling about the PD -- it's just a bit sterile.

I would also like to thank all you guys who kindly offered to help me out by babysitting this one for me. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion to change out the shoes, Skipdawg.  I'll give that a try.

PS:  I should also make the disclaimer that I recognize what an outstanding watch it is.  And I understand that there's a certain beauty in its design.  So please don't misconstrue that I think there's anything wrong with the Stowa PD.  It just may not be for me.
