 I have been lurking on this site for a year or more and just decided to join. I also read or get the "shiney" watch publications at the news stand. I have noticed very little information about the quality of the mechanical movements from non-swiss companies. I am even beginning to question the "swiss-made" engines.

I would hope there could be some discussion of the quality and reliablity of the actual movement  by name and identifying number  rather than by watch manufacturer.

For example: AdeeKay LeBauches movements. Are there one or many. Where are they made and what is the quality. Also what about  the Android ad288
