If you are talking about machine scrollwork vs hand scrollwork I agree that there is no extra value in machine scrollwork but if your talking about nice finishwork as decoration like perlage or some other machine made tooling patern its only important to me if its a display back watch. What I really don't like is turning over a display back watch only to find an ugly unfinished movement in it ... oooh ya thats one hot miyota :? And whats the point of paying for the extra machine time if its not a display back? I agree..............I'm not a big fan of display backs just for the sake of being able to see a movement, unless there is some great craftsmanship involved.....................I stopped wear my watches "upside-down" years ago.:D Last edited on Sat Apr 15th, 2006 09:10 pm by |
