I thought of giving the heads up on a new item that I have found in a local competitor store, in Vancouver. Of course, some of you may have heard or read about the new Seiko 5 Map Meter Watch. The neat thing about this watch is that the crown at the 9 o'clock position measures the distance on the map when dragged across the map and the inner rotating bezel gives you the co-ordinates. This eliminates the old way of using a compass and slide ruler to measure distances between Point A to Point B and all points beyond. The outer rotating bezel acts as a compass.
