Scot either yellow or orange make for great dial colors underwater for recreational divers and black is still the color of choice preferred by most divers...red is the color that disappears quickest....lume is what drives most today so that is what you would want....in the lower end $ wise the Seiko Monsters are still hard to beat in a dive watch and lume is well documented on the forums....in the mid to higher end there is a bevy of brands,styles,depth ratings and size variations available depending on your budget...if he prefers quartz...Luminox is still a good choice with the tubeshand6.gif
