A friend of mine at work pointed out how easy it is to get a Mac guy upset. He's right. I wonder, why do you think it is that Mac users are so passionate about their computers, while pc users don't seem to be?
Your friend is pretty much correct. Mac people can be a real pain. I used to be on the other side of the fence. I USED to be the one making all the comments like Mr. Ken C. I used PC's for quite a number of years before finally trying a Mac. I learned DOS, Windows 95, 98, 98SE, 2000, etc. I skipped ME, it was terrible. Then one day I sucked it up and bought a G-3 beige Mac with OS 8.5 (I think). It was amazing. No virus attacks. No system failures. No problems installing new hardware or software. No problems getting on the Internet. NO PROBLEMS PERIOD. And, it has been that way ever since. I'm on my 4th Mac system now, and still zero problems. Never virus, a worm, nothing. My computer just works every day. It has crashed maybe twice since I got it a year and a half ago.
All my friends with PC's still call me for help with all of their problems. And, they do have problems. I just have to bite my tongue. Switching is something more people should try.
