So, I'm back after a 3 week globetrot.  So much to catch up on at work, home and play!

I really had a great time - first in PA, and then in Germany, Holland and Belgium.  Of course I saw a lot of nice watches!  Unfortunately my trip coincided with the worldwide slump in the economy, which resulted in our currency weakening drastically against the major currencies.  My trip was 25% dearer as a result........

Well, I did pick up a few pieces to bring back.  I will report on them one by one later on.

The GMT Master II performed superbly. I have never worn this watch for 3 weeks solid before, so I can safely say it was a dream. It is so user friendly when adjusting times across the zones - especially the feature allowing you to adjust backwards too - with the date reversing if necessary.

Only two complaints (make that 3...)

- lume is VERY poor at night (I wore it 24/24)

-gaining about 35 sec /day, so I will have to have it regulated.

- Most people doubt the originality of a Rolex nowadays, due to the number of fakes about...

I took some "in situ" pics of the piece on the trip.
