I can understand their reaction.  Moving to Japanese quartz is something totally unexpected for a company named "Vostok Europe" :shock:

Personally I'm wondering why they didn't use a Poljot 3133 chrono. It seems to be a relatively cheap movement (I see it in watches in the $200-300 range) and it looks just great.

Or is it also becoming a rare and expensive movement?
