Speaking for myself I only use a wooden watch valet box for my watches that don't have original boxes. Any new watch that has their own boxes,I just keep them in there along with the original sales receipts and hang tags.:D However, it does clutter my desk when I want to look at all of my timepieces, that I have accumulated.;) When said and done everything goes back into their proper boxes and I just store them away. Before the days of having home computer, I would log everything into a Blueline Accountant's Book. As to when each watch was purchased and serviced. Now, that I'm a retailer for a watch store I've just sent whatever needs to be serviced to my workshop and not having to think about it.:) Cheers, Simon
