Probably by now you've managed to seach out the history of Orient and I get the sense they're one of those less heard of gems for most folks.  I've never been disappointed with my Orients and I should also add I'm getting my wife one for christmas as well as myselfsubtlelaugh.gif.  I have a coworker that picked up an Orient Star as well and it's a great deal!  I've seen a couple intro line Orient 3 stars and they do have folded links and look a lot like seikos but mine are all solid and run great.  I should also add that the lume leaves a little to be desired on my current models-I don't know how it is with the Retro Line (maybe McWright can fill that in), but they are quite comfortable on my wrist.  I'm sure I've posted a pic or 2 by darn if I can find the nowmistake.gif
