I say figure out what her "bad habit" is - and capitalise! What - like she doesn't buy shoes? In every colour of the rainbow? mistake.gif. My ex-wife had a penchant for expensive wine. One bottle = one watch. It is easy!! It would probably be a nice idea to help her appreciate the nuances of watches by getting her one similar, and then you could have a his and hers collection going on. Nothing better than a shared hobby IMHO. And even if you decide to get two of the same model - it is amazing how different watches look on straps more appropriate to members of the better sex. Your Blancpain Fifty Fathoms re-issue on black leather, hers on the white - see what I mean? :D

On a more serious note - it is a dilemma we all see from time to time. No lies, mate, they just catch up with you and make mountains of molehills.

Be up front, deal with the consequences, but at least set the record straight. You'll run out of parents to credit as you acquire the next twenty or so... face4.gif

Cheers and good luck! IanM
