I told myself last night when I went to bed if there were still watches available this morning I was going to buy another one...

So I get up, check out the thread and see Huck's post that only yellow dials were left....as many of you know my wife has one rule when it comes to buying watches, I can buy ANYTHING I want as long as it does not have a YELLOW dial, she hates everything yellow, watches, cars, trucks, etc.

So now I have a dilemma, but then I see my "good buddy" Oscar's post that said "the yellow is the nicest IMHO"....soooo I show the post to my lovely wife and say "sweetie, here's a guy that really knows his watches and in his opinion he thinks the yellow is the nicest one available".

Now I'm not sure if that's what did it or if the fact I just bought her a $5,000 sewing machine helped, but the outcome was a a new yellow dial 12000 footer is incoming.  snoopy1.gif

I choose to believe it was the former rather than the later, so thanks Oscar, you da man!!!!

I also agree with Oscar on the rubber strap instead of the bracelet, wears much nicer on rubber....the problem I had with the rubber strap that came with my silver dial is with my woman's size wrist I could pretty much almost wrap it around twice.  So I purchased a 24mm rubber strap and cut it down to 20mm to fit the lugs and it looks great....here's a couple pics, it's not perfect but this was the first shot at it.
