I have an outstanding knife collection that gets added too several times a year.
Do I have enough things to cut with you bet, but I still buy, as I get so much pleasure out of having and adding too, my collection. I have an outstanding LED flashlight collection. One in every car, in everyroom, several in my camp gear, and batteries/chargers to go with them. I add to this collection several times each year. I have a nice fountain pen collection, 6 really excellent, classic pieces, and as time goes on I also add to this as well. And finally watches. I have a nice collection and right now I have 10 pieces. More than enough for the purpose of telling time, and I add to this collection as well. Life is meant to be enjoyed, I enjoy these things. If I didn't I would place my interest in something else. More to the point everybody who knows me always ask what pen am I using today, what time is it (just to see what watch I'm wearing, and they will say hay look at how small that flashlight is and how bright it is. Or ask me to cut sometime just to check out my latest knife. These are things that matter to me. I am known to my loved ones for having usually on my person: 1 or 2 nice fountain pens, 1 Led flashligh, 1 knife, and an ever changing watch, and for me it's the point of having quality stuff at my finger tips, or on my wrist. My GF found these things out early on, and she became my GF for many reasons, but included in these was a knowledge that these hobbies were important to me. She doesnt share most of these but has enjoyed the benefits of her boyfriend having these hobbies.
She has 3 nice flashlights that I got for her(car, purse, bedroom). She has a nice fountain Pen in her purse, A nice keychain pen knife, and yes I got her a beautiful girly watch that she wears all the time. Be up front, be who you are,
