1st of all Welcome to 3T swips
and like peewee has stated the Molnija is a workhorse of a movement much like the Unitas but have a tendency to run fast/slow...a certain amount of break-in time is needed but losing 6 mins a day seems not up to par...I would get an exchange or at least have it regulated ...that would drive me nuts being that Slow...:P Hopefully the Dealer has a good exchange policy and another in stock to Exchange ....Good Luck 
Pam, I have this watch as well (Junkers 6434)....Just purchased last week. It is losing 2-3 minutes each 12 hour cycle. In my work, this is unacceptable. I am trying to decide-return or replace. Given your experience, is it an anomaly....Should I expect better performance from this model?
