I know Judah has been involved with Sterling as well as Stuhrling..I wish Someone would bring the George J.Von Burg line back :D I had a great WIS conversation with one of Sterlings lead men and asked him about the movements used in Stuhrling Watches way back when TT introduced them...his answer to me was that Stuhrling used base Seiko movements and modified them...Sterling is a Stand Up operation and I believe they also distribute many of the Brands on WSS/TT including August Steiner...which is a great Watch and soon to be out with Automatics...The entire Watch Industry is filled with Mystique and this is One Reason I love Collecting on Whatever level a WIS may be on...it's Fun and if Research is Something one enjoys like myself..this is the Perfect Hobby IMHO
I have a more direct hint how do you spell sterling in german, may be stuhrling. 30 west 47th street is the adress of both. One is on the 6th floor and the other on the 11th. You just got two of there watches from me. With that I am out.
