I have an old Bulova (made in 1942?) that I purchased on ebay a few months back. It ran great when I first got it. All of a sudden it started losing about 15 minutes a day. I thought that it being relatively old I would have it fully serviced at a local reputable jeweler. They sent it out to someone in the area to have it done. When I got it back the crown was loose (it wasn't before) and it wouldn't run with any consistancy at all when it was running. I took it back to the jewelers and they sent it back to the watchmaker. $150.00 for the servicing and well over 2 months later and I still haven't seen my watch. They told me that it should be ready on Jan. 6. They give at least a one year warrantee, but I am not very pleased with the whole thing. What sort of things should I ask of them? They won't tell me the name of the watchmaker. If the watch doesn't work well when I get it back, may I ask them to have another watchmaker of my chosing reservice it? The watch in my avitar is the dial of the watch. It is January 6 and I should get the watch back sometime this week. I will let you know what comes of it... Thanks In Advance, Chris Attached Thumbnails
