Since my O7 pic led off this thread, I guess I should lend my dos centavos. First of all, I doubt I will ever buy another O7. Not for any negative reasons, but simply because none of their other watches appeal to me. I bought the LM3 about a year ago, and acknowledge that it looks just like every other watch with this style case. Nauticfish, Enzo, Deep Blue, etc. I don't know which one came first, and honestly I could care less. I was looking for a sub 1K beater with a Swiss automatic movement that wasn't all fancy and polished and that I could wear for police work and not worry about. Period. I don't care if this watch was made in Bienne, China or Timbucktoo. Insofar as Mitch goes, when I first got this watch I had a problem with the second hand dragging over the minute hand. It would actually make contact and the watch would always stop well short of the end of the power reserve with the hands "stacked" on top of each other. I sent Mitch an email, sent him the watch, and it was back on my wrist in under 10 days working perfectly. He also threw in a strap of my choice to cover shipping. Now, it never occurred to me to get on the O7 forum and post about how my new watch was all jacked up. Yet, some people do this sort of thing before they even attempt to contact the man. Would I be pissed if I were Mitch? You betcha. Does Mitch have "other" issues? Yea, so it would seem. However, my problem was resolved to my satisfaction and that's really all I was concerned about. What he does on his forum has nothing to do with me. I've always found it silly that people take this hobby so seriously. ~ David
