 Well I understand that when you are dealing with man-made things there are certain to be problems ...... a customer should always wait for an outcome before trashing a watch or a company ..... the first thing a customer should do is contact the company, and then see how the problem is dealt with ... and how well its dealt with ... and with what kind of attitude as well ... There are many things to concider before we all jump to conclusions ... like how much does the watch cost ?  How long was the wait ? Is the problem one that all the owners had or just an isolated incident ? Was it negligence or just human error ? As far as you comment on how you think its silly on the seriousness of this hobby ?!!? I spent alot of money on this hobby and I actually use my watch for timing and for diving  ... sometimes it serious business when I am timing something , or when diving I need to know how long I've got before running out of air  ... that said I do think its kindof crazy on how some people buy a watch then never use it in fear of a scratch , but that is thier perogative and maybe they are only worried about resale value .......
