 Great review, pax!  It is a beautiful watch that does fit both dress and sport needs...and while some do call it "military", this military guys does not.  I think it fits more into the "pilot" category, but no matter where you want to place it...it is classic.

I'm a bracelet guy myself, but this is one of those watches that I think, looks much better of leather...now, if it were me, I have Paul duplicate your red X strap in blue for this puppy!!!
