Hello, I am a new Monstrum owner, having picked one up in a trade. I have been very pleasantly surprised by the watch. I have the yellow model, and from the sapphire crystal, to the firm turn of the bezel, and the neat design, the watch is really a great original piece. I was also surprised how easy it is to wear on an average sized wrist. Sure, the lume could be better, the small strap screws look to be a neat design choice that may have some practical side effects (got to keep those little buggers tightened), but hey, those are minor details that can be rectified. More importantly, I like that Orsa watches are identifiable as Orsa watches, and I have yet to see anything that they can be mistaken for, which in today's crowded watch world, is impressive. The watch also appears to be fairly rugged, and the bezel has a nice firm turning effort, with virtually no play. Durability is important with three sons and two big dogs. I can't wear a desk diver that won't hold up, or wear something so expensive that I panic every time it touches something other than my shirt sleeve. I've been impressed enough that I think I see a lithium in my future, but what really intrigues me is the idea of a pvd Orsa I saw mentioned in one of the posts here. Anyway, I look forward to participating, and I've attached a lousy shot I took of the watch on some mardi gras beads from last night's parade (photography isn't my strong suit). It'll be at tonight's parade as well, and I expect it will join us on next week's trip to the beach in Florida. These things are water resistant right? ;) All the best....Maxgold114 Attachment: Monstrum2.jpeg (Downloaded 151 times)
