As you all know I have talked about a vintage divers since start of 2008. And now its ready. In fact we have chosen to go with the vintage submariner.

The case will be:

a. 38mm

b. No crown guard ( think Ref. 5508 submariners)

c. Domed sapphire for vintage looks

d. Rotating bezel

e. ETA 2824-2

f. Non-date for that authentic vintage looks.

The case and the rivet bracelet are all done as we speak.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now we need to know which dial everyone likes.

There are a couple of dials I have in mind which are also used in vintage subbies.

1. Vintage submariner dial (Ref. 5513, 5512, 1680)

2. Modern Submariner dial with white-gold surround (Ref. 14060)

3. Submariner dial with railway track ( Ref. 5508)

4. Explorer 1 looks with railway track (ala Ref. 1016)

Warmest Regards
Anders
