 Scott, 16 Size refers to the size of the actual movement of the watch...if I remember right a 16 size movement is about 43mm. It had nothing to do with the overall size of the watch with the case, just the movement.

This was the most popular size for Railroad Grade pocket watches.

A 10 size is very, very close in size to a 6497 movement about 38mm, you will see these size Hamilton movements in some of the Pam Homage watches
