You're Correct Cheeps..it was 1997 when they started the Brand and it Belushi and investors that started the Lounges (that is how they met)...one of Which still exists near the Santa Monica Pier.....:)
Actually I think these guys(Norris & Belushi) started the cigar brand about 1996, not 1986.
I got a tad confused when I re-read the part about the "lounges".
It was about this same time that Bruce Willis, Ahnuld & Stallone started the Hard Rock Cafe clubs too. All of them were gar smokers at the time. It gave me a moments pause, but I could not recall another cigar brand being formed from this crowd, except for ol' dark one................George Hamilton.
