May I suggest though, that the upper jaw should be protruding over the lower jaw, as the hooked jaw is a particularly distinguishing characteristic. If the logo is to be placed at 12, then the lines need to be heavier, or the filled in with lume to balance the dial, and provide a clear indication of the 12 o'clock position. I really think that this forum and its members, fans of Benarus, are most sincere as compared with other forums. It is quite enjoyable to have this level of communication and collaboration on a unique and creative process. Hope to see your next rendering soon ! THANKS !!! Jim I liked going with the skeleton of the Eel head in the previous logo I posted for several reasons. skeleton's are cool and have a old school pirate mystique to them. Thought it fit the old school BR Green and design of the Moray. Second, it could be identified only as a Moray skull by the fact that it is snatching up the fish, meaning aquatic animal, and it has a secondary set of jaws, unique Moray set up. Kind of something a little more sophisticated.
The third reason is that I thought a line dwg of a moray head wouldn't be terribly appealing. They just aren't the most attractive animal up close and personal by any means. However, I thought I would give my hand at a line sketch and the results have some potential I think.
Please pardon the roughness of the sketch, as I did it quickly in photoshop using the brush tool and my laptops touch pad. One of the more uncontrollable methods for artwork, but you can atleast get the idea. Besides, maybe it gives it that electrified look:)
