 I kind of like the Zeppelin stuff for that. Long Island Watch has the Dual Time GMT (7642-5) for $219. Handsome watch - formal enough for business travel; cool enough for tourista travel. 

Also not so expensive that you freak if something happens.. I have a coworker who "lost" a Corum on a trip (hotel staff are the main suspects), and he still moans.

Depends on what you like of course.
