Actually, I let Kent Parks choose the colors. The blue is nice, but fades faster than the green. Once the blue "settles" down it is hard for me to see it is blue in the pitch dark. The green on the other hand is stronger to start with and lasts longer overall. It is also just easier to see. Green still rules!
