XOSkeleton is one of only two brands (the other is Rolex) that utilizes 904L steel--the highly corrosive resistant steel used in transatlantic cables, costing approximately four times that of the more commonly used 316L steel. All crystals are sapphire, with all case components hand finished and hand assembled. Each component is custom built to the design, with all movements being Swiss in origin (the one exception being the Tourbillon, as discussed below). Because of its hypoallergenic qualities, the back of each case is a custom built cradle of 316L steel that is handset into the ergonomically designed larger cradle of 904L steel of the case and lug design. The result is both comfortable and hypoallergenic.
But with XOSkeleton it's not just about the tech--it's also about design. XO holds several patented designs, the most notable being the patented "O ring," crafted of 904L steel (which surrounds the cases in most designs, and is even used to pressure set gemstones in some models). For the price, it's highly unlikely that any other brand comes close to the tech and design offered by XOSkeleton.
