 I had a 26mm Micah Dirksen strap that was laying around from a MM Homage that was sold a while back.  Figured I would try to notch it to fit the 24mm lugs on my LM-3.  Well that got botched crap.gif, so I decided lets cut it down to 22mm and use it on my JSAR.  Once done, I did not like the way the "notching" looked so I decided to blend it with rest of the strap.  After I was done with that I didn't like the the unfinished edge in the area I had just cut, so I distressed the edges on the entire strap with some sandpaper.  Since the buckle was polished I used the sandpaper to brush the finish on the the buckle.  The end product was not what I originally wanted but I guess the distressed look is OK on a big tool watch like the JSAR. 

Glad I finally got it right, otherwise this strap would have looked funny on a 16mm lug watch subtlelaugh.gif.

What kills me is that if I would have just sent the strap back to Micah, he would have done the notching for free.

Anyways, what do you think?
