Pretty nice for a first timer :) I can't help you with your question regarding the movement.. but I can give you some quick tips regarding your photograpy. To prevent glare from occuring its best to use a filter between the watch and the direct light source, a sheet of white paper would do the trick. If you have problems keeping your camera steady, it's advisable to buy a small tripod. And last but not least, sunlight is always better for photograpy than artificial light.
